Bylaws
Bylaws are the backbone of your local chapter. They spell out the organization of your chapter by defining officers, specifying their duties, and providing for officer elections. AANS recommends that all local chapters have adequate, up-to-date bylaws.
Our Legislative Chair is here to help your chapter with preparation or amending of bylaws.
You may also submit proposed amendments to the AANS Bylaws, which would be voted on at the House of Delegates at the AANS Annual Convention. Submission information and deadlines are located on our Convention page. To see the current AANS Bylaws, visit our Bylaws page.
